GMS - One of the Best Public Schools
Giddings Middle School was rated to be one of the higher performing schools in Texas for the third year in a row by the National Center for Educational Accountability.The NCEA examined student test scores as compared to other schools in the state in order to create the higher performing schools list. GMS made the list because of its consistently high scores on the TAKS Social Studies.
GMS PTO - February Fundraiser
The GMS PTO is selling carnations as part of their fundraising efforts for the current school year. Carnations are being sold in the office for $1.00. They will be delivered to students during 3rd period on February 12th. The PTO will have a meeting on February 11th at 5:30 pm in order to prepare the carnations for delivery.
